The SS starts off with a TIG-welded chassis constructed from 1 ½ inch chromoly tubing. The tie-rods and spindles are chromoly, and 4130 chromoly rod ends are used at all pivot points. A set of Fox 2.5 coil over shocks supply 21 inches of front wheel travel. Finishing off the front end are disc brakes, along with Method wheels that mount to 15” Smoothee Extreme sand tires or off-road tires.
The independent rear suspension is manufactured with tubular trailing arms boxed in for reinforcement, made entirely of chromoly plate. The trailing arms are set up with adjustable heim rod ends at each pivot point and 7/8-inch rod ends outboard. They are designed to be used in conjunction with race-proven micro stub axle assemblies. These shorter stub axles are designed for larger 930 CV joints and provide clearance for increased axle plunge. The 20 inches of rear wheel travel is regulated by 2.5 Fox coil over shocks and a set of Method wheels mounted to 15 inch Extreme paddles tires or off-road tires.Price Your SS
